Let those locks shine!!

I've got lots of curls and some pretty dry, brittle hair! (Check out my Dry Shampoo post for more on this portion of my hair journey!) Hair treatments have done wonders for my unruly locks! I even use the Hair Mask to help protect my hair from pool-time chemicals; I love to swim!

These hair treatments come in two variations; an oil & a mask. But what’s the difference?
Well, hair oils primarily focus on adding shine and taming frizz. While hair masks provide a broader range of benefits, including hydration and repair. I use this mask as a leave-in treatment for a longer period, usually overnight. Both leave my hair feeling naturally hydrated and fresh! And smelling good too!!

But why not just hop over to the local store and get your hair mask there? What it boils down to is that what we put ON our bodies is just as important as what we put IN them! And yes, that includes our hair and scalp too! Commercial hair masks have been known to contain certain products which may be harmful to your luscious locks. My hair mask is made from scratch in my own kitchen, using responsibly sourced products: Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, & Tea Tree essential oils.

Namaste & Blessings my Friends!

Directions for use: Give the mask a little shake to reincorporate all those wonderful ingredients! Massage the mixture onto your scalp and hair from roots to tips. Wrap your hair in a bun, a towel or put on a shower cap. Leave the hair mask on for several hours or, ideally, overnight. Wash and rinse hair as usual.
