The Ohio State University football legacy began on May 3, 1890 with they played at Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware, Ohio. The Buckeyes were victorious with a score of 20-14. Many of the 700 fans present admitted they didn't understand the game. From there the football program has grown into one of the most successful in the country.
