This is pure, raw, summer honey which has been infused inside a charred American oak barrel from Minglewood Distilling Co in Wooster, Ohio. The barrel imparts flavors of caramel, vanilla, oak, and a smoky sweetiness from the charred wood. Try it drizzled over biscuits, toast, as a glaze for salmon, a simple syrup for mocktails, or on top of vanilla ice cream.
For our Summer honey, the bees have gathered nectar from a variety of wildflowers including Canadian thistle, wild blackberries, and clover. Never pasteurized or high-pressure filtered, it retains all the trace vitamins, minerals, enzymes, flavors and aromas of fresh raw honey.
