VIP Wear Ltd. is really a story of life-long inspiration...
I have always loved drawing, designing and fashion. I didn't take it seriously until later in high school, though. VIP Wear was originally called Ground Zero, but when the Twin Towers fell on 9/11, I chose to change the name. There have been a lot of trials and tribulation to get to where I am now, but I think that believing in God and myself means that the sky is the limit.
What do you like to do when you aren't busy designing your clothing?
When I'm not busy taking care of the company, I spend time with my lovely wife and two boys. We are kind of food connoisseurs, so we love going to new restaurants. I also love spending time with my lovely 90 year grandmother, my mom and all of my brothers and sisters.
Tell us a little more about your creative process...
A lot of my visions or designs come from the man upstairs through day dreaming or looking at something. It's like you dream about it and it will come LOL. It can happen at any time, but then I have to get it down on paper.
How has being a part of the Celebrate Local family helped your business?
After becoming a part of the Celebrate Local family, I have a bigger platform, with a brick and mortar store so that access to my product is quicker for my customers. I'm very appreciative of that.
What is your favorite product?
I don't think I could pick a favorite product, because all of them are a part of my art canvas of fashion. After I create one, it opens the gateway to doing another one, then another, and now I can't stop.
