Q: What's the story behind your business, and how did you get started?

A: Root 23 Simple Syrups were imagined and crafted by co-founders Leah Monaghan and Barb Stauffer. We are busy moms and neighbors who wanted to create high-end cocktails at home with low-effort recipes. We spent many hours experimenting with flavors and invited friends over to taste test the syrups in cocktails before deciding which flavors to produce.

Q: What makes your products unique?

A: Our unique flavor combinations, made with organic cane sugar and all-natural ingredients, can be used to make delicious cocktails or refreshing non-alcoholic drinks as well!

A: We love being a part of Celebrate Local because it is inspiring to be surrounded by so many interesting local products and entrepreneurs!
